Hello My Name Is...
Victoria Hart
About Me:
¡Hola! Welcome to my Spanish 2 honors website.
This is my 23rd teaching and I am so excited to teach one of my favorite classes, Spanish 2 Honors!
I have taught all levels of Spanish and I love the energy of freshmen and the excitement that they bring to class. I visited Spain for the first time when I was 14 years old and I have been passionate about the Spanish language and culture ever since. I have traveled to Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru and Costa Rica. I studied at the Universidad de Guadalajara and I worked for the YMCA in Cuernavaca and Tijuana, Mexico. I studied Spanish at Western Michigan University and the University of Texas at El Paso. I was incredibly honored to receive a scholarship to study the indigenous cultures of Mexico at Yale University and travel with their esteemed professors to Chiapas, Mexico. I continued my studies at the University of Scranton and the University of Denver. I am currently the Instructional Coach at Lakewood and I am so proud to be Lakewood Tiger. When I am not at work, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my husband and dog Diego and reading.
